Expert-Designed Child Safety Education for Child-Based Organisations and Educators.
Practical, research-backed training and resources
built from a decade on the front line of child protection investigation - so your team knows exactly what to watch for, and what to do next.
Why It Matters
Every early childhood educator, teacher, and youth worker is trained on mandatory reporting and child sexual abuse. Almost none are equipped to recognise grooming, or to have the tough, direct conversations with children that actual prevention requires.
And it goes further than knowing the signs. Most educators aren't given the support, language, or organisational backing to call out the grey-area behaviours - the ones that don't scream red flag, that are easy to dismiss or explain away, but that matter most because they're what precedes the obvious stuff. Without that support, even educators who notice something off often don't know how to name it, let alone act on it.
That gap isn't a small one. It's the difference between a team that reacts after harm has already happened, and a team equipped to recognise and interrupt the early, deniable behaviours that precede it - and confident enough to say something when it counts.
Child safety isn't a policy binder. It's a culture, built and maintained by adults who've actually been shown what to look for and given permission to act on it.
From the Interview Room,
to the Classroom
Kristi McVee spent 10 years with the Western Australian Police Force, nearly six of them as a Detective specialising in child sexual abuse investigations, working as a Specialist Child Interviewer conducting formal evidentiary interviews with children who had disclosed abuse. That work requires a level of precision, restraint, and understanding of child disclosure that generic child safety training doesn't touch.
When she left the force in 2020, it was to shift from reactive to proactive - from responding after harm had happened to helping stop it before it starts. She's since worked as an Online Safety Specialist presenting to students from Years 3–12, and delivered talks to parents, educators, and organisations across the country.
Everything Kristi teaches organisations and educators comes directly from that frontline experience - not generic compliance content, but real insight into how offenders gain access, how grooming actually unfolds, and what meaningfully changes an organisation's ability to catch it early.
